STEVE ANGELLO RELEASES A POIGNANTLY VIOLENT VIDEO FOR

“THE OCEAN”

Out today, the new video for Steve Angello’s single “The Ocean” is a moving homage to the life of a blue-collar fighter trying to make it in the sports world while maintaining his day job in a bakery and doing dad duty at night. Although Angello doesn’t make an appearance, the cinematic clip is an impressive, moving effort featuring a good deal of blood and ending with no easy answers. The track itself is a driving, nuanced electro tour de force featuring vocals from Swedish vocalist Julia Spada.

“The Ocean” comes from Angello’s new album Wild Youth, out today via his own Size Records. In a press release, Angello says the “highly personal album spans his life and chronicles era after era from childhood, his career beginning, arena-sized stardom, walking away from Swedish House Mafia, a lucrative major label solo deal (that he bought himself out of) to where he is now making the art and living the life he wants.”
