RIHANNA’S “WORK” GETS OFFICIAL REMIXES FROM R3HAB, BAD ROYALE, AND MORE

Put Rihanna and Drake on a track together, and you’ll end up with a radio hit primed for a remix blitz. After Rihanna’s rapper-guesting “Work” got the smooth treatment from Kanye West collaborators DJDS, the Barbadian singer has released an official remix package of her own.

The dancehall-influenced single, off Rihanna’s eighth studio album Anti, was released today as an eight-track remix EP featuring four dance producers: Mad Decent trio Bad Royale, UK duo Lost Kings, BURNS, and Dutch producer R3hab, the latter hopping on his fourth Rih-mix (he previously reworked “What Now,” “Bitch Better Have My Money,” and “We Found Love”).

The interpretations stretch wide in sound, with R3hab going for tropped-out hip-hop, BURNS doing trap, Bad Royale taking a page out of boss Diplo’s book with their wonky synth-work, and Lost Kings’ neon-glazed take. Listen to BURNS’ and Bad Royale’s remixes below. The remixes are currently streaming on Tidal.
