“DESPACITO” BECOMES MOST VIEWED VIDEO IN YOUTUBE HISTORY, WITHOUT THE BIEBS

In just seven months, “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi x Daddy Yankee has made YouTube history!

The insanely popular song has become the most viewed YouTube video ever, in record-breaking time. Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” from Furious 7 recently dethroned Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which previously held the record since 2012.

Recently, “Despacito” also became the most globally streamed song ever… While Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee are both featured singing in Spanish, the remixed version with Justin Bieber definitely gave the song some added popularity in English-speaking countries.

The Biebs isn’t even featured in the original video though, which proves “Despacito” is a megahit even without the pop star.

The video is currently at 3,021,129,035 — and racking ’em up every moment. Play it again right here!
