Android users can now download the app for free…

Pioneer DJ have released their DJing app WeDJ for Android. The popular app lets you DJ using the music files stored on your device. It features two decks with waveform and artwork display, crossfader and a central mixer with EQ, FX and hot cues.

There’s also a touch-screen Pad FX section for Kaoss-style effects control. If you’re more of a hardware person, the DDJ-WeGO4 lets you control the app using real jog wheels, knobs and faders. There’s also a record function and an automix option if you’re feeling particularly lazy.

The app is available for free with an introductory In-App Billing price of €0.89 until 9th October 2017. Other mobile music making tools include Korg’s recent iMono/Poly and Ampify’s recently Groovebox.
