Bassnectar has announced his new event, DEJA VOOM, an intimate, all-inclusive concert vacation taking place in Mexico’s Riviera Maya from February 27th through March 2nd. This uniquely curated event takes place on the beach at The Barceló Maya Grand Resort.
The four-day takeover will be packed with music, pool parties, late nights, off-site excursions, community enrichment workshops led by Be Interactive, a carbon offset and recycling program, daily yoga sessions and more. Each day of the event is headlined by Bassnectar with additional performances by REZZ, The Glitch Mob, Digital Mystikz (Mala & Coki), Claude VonStroke, Beats Antique (DJ set), 12th Planet, Ott., Elohim, Telefon Tel Aviv, West Coast Lo Fi and many more, all hand-selected by Bassnectar. During the day, guests can lounge on the beach or stop by pool parties hosted by Dirtybird & 29 Palms (Ooah & Boreta), with more to be announced soon.
Each night fans will convene in Deja Voom‘s concert venue, Playa Azul, created to both amaze and awe. Once inside guests will be treated to traditional and not-so-traditional entertainment as they flock towards the main stage, situated upon a beautiful stretch of beach just feet from the Caribbean Sea. Fans can also enjoy the local cuisine including a nightly rotating vegetarian menu mixed with various snacks and desserts. When activities wrap on the beach, the party will continue with special late night sets hosted by Slug Wife, Deep Medi and more along with bonus ambient sets at The Haven, courtesy of The Glitch Mob, Telefon Tel Aviv, Thriftworks, Bil Bless, Ill Gates and Ana Sia.
These will be the some of the most intimate shows from Bassnectar this year, with only a limited amount of packages available. Every attendee is treated as a VIP with all-inclusive accommodations and rock star treatment at one of three hand-selected resorts. All packages feature unlimited food and drink, a 24-hour concierge service, daily on-site activities (tequila tastings, craft beer tastings, bowling, surfing contests and more). Additional off-site adventures like exploring Chichen Itza, visiting the ruins in Tulum, zip-lining through the Mayan jungle, snorkeling in the pristine Caribbean waters and more are available for additional fees.
