The powerhouse behind Wanderlust Records, Anne Ka – alias Pretty Pink
– delivers a powerful, synth-driven track ‘Pure’. The track is arriving a month ahead of her forthcoming 2-track EP, ‘Move It/Rider’ which will feature her signature pulsating tech-house sound. ‘Pure’ sees the German DJ/producer experiment with deep, enthralling sonic elements, and will surely find itself entering in many closing festival sets leading into fall.
Following the release of her leading summer deep house hit, ‘Change’, Pretty Pink is changing scenery to unveil a multidimensional techno cut. The track features chromatic synth chops layered over a deep, driving bass line. Contrary to her previous releases, ‘Pure’ sees Pretty Pink incorporate a different production style than in her usual nu-disco-led style.
‘Pure’ tips its hat to the grittier aspects of deep tech house, while maintaining the ethereal elements of her previous productions. The release is arriving with the news of her forthcoming fall EP, which will include two brand-new tracks that will help her label push its creative boundaries.
