Fresh off the back of another huge summer, Australian melody maestro Sonny Fodera is back, this time delivering his brand-new slice of bass-driven house, with an anthem titled ‘Need’.
Taking a slightly deeper, and bass-focused feel than his previous productions, Sonny’s ‘Need’ utilises a thumping core, and is topped with the rich vocals of soulful rising talent, Josh Barry, while still maintaining hints of the piano melodies which have made Sonny’s sound so unique.
The track follows an incredible 2018 for Sonny Fodera, who has held down a residency at Cuckoo Land for Ibiza Rocks, as well as further dates across Hideout, WE ARE FSTVL, and Amnesia’s ‘Together’ series. With further dates planned at Creamfields, ABODE, and District 8 in Dublin, the release of ‘Need follows Sonny’s recent releases, including ‘All or Nothing’ and ‘Candy’; collaborative projects with BBC Radio 1 broadcaster, Danny Howard.
Releasing ‘Need’ on Danny’s Nothing Else Matters label – the same imprint which hosted Sonny’s springtime whopper ‘Take Me Down’, the label continues to host a series of the freshest club tracks around, recently housing productions from the likes of KC Lights, Secondcity, Après, Just Kiddin, Kydus and many more.
‘Need’ is set for release on Friday 17th August.
