Toronto trio Keys N Krates is celebrating the meteoric success of their debut album Cura by releasing a new LP of remixes. On their debut album, the trio expanded upon their bass-centric, percussion-driven electronic sound, integrating a joyful blend of classic hip-hop, R&B and disco.
Highlighted by remixes from Troyboi, The Juan Maclean, and Falcons, the LP features a talented group of producers including Electric Mantis, GANZ, Hugo Massien, S-TYPE, Danny Byrd and Fabrikate. On the LP, listeners can enjoy fresh takes on album cuts like “Music To My Ears (feat. Tory Lanez),” “My Night (feat. 070 Shake),” “Glitter (feat. Ambré),” “Flute Loop (feat. Ouici),” “Something Wonderful” and title track “Cura.”
The new LP follows the announcement of Keys N Krates’ new “Closer We Get” tour, a series of intimate shows that brings their live show experience closer to fans than ever before. Beginning on November 24th in Brooklyn, the tour will span across North America for 7 shows at iconic small room venues concluding on December 22nd in Denver.
Speaking on the creation of an intimate experience to share with fans on the tour, the band says, “Closer We Get is when our world becomes smaller through the vibrations we share.”
