London-born singer-songwriter Kelli-Leigh continues her hot streak with new single ‘Feelin U’, out now.
A vibrant modern rework of ‘Just Won’t Do’ the early-2000s house classic by Tim Deluxe and Ben Onono, ‘Feelin U’ sees Kelli-Leigh’s soaring, unrivalled vocals combined with a deep bassline and the infectious trumpet of the original. It follows recent solo single ‘You Don’t Know Me’, and ‘Good’ in collaboration with radio don MistaJam, furthering Kelli-Leigh’s burgeoning catalogue which has accrued over 165 million streams worldwide.
“I am so excited to have my first ever signed single on the incredible Warner Records!” Kelli-Leigh enthuses. “’Feelin’ U’ is a feelgood summer record, combining my love for pop and dance produced by Billen Ted. I have always loved ‘Just Won’t Do’ by Tim Deluxe and Ben Onono, it’s a classic record and I’m so proud the guys let me re-create this incredible track adding my own flair on it to make ‘Feelin’ U’.
She continues: “We’re all ready for some freedom after the crazy last year we’ve had, so I hope this record gives people the feeling of sunshine, holidays and good times coming. Turn it up loud, this one bangs!”
Kelli-Leigh’s experience in the industry is extensive, being one of the most sought after vocalists in the dance music space. Her career includes 2 number 1s and 3 UK top hits, featuring as the vocalist on a number of club anthems including ‘More Than Friends’ by James Hype and the GRAMMY nominated number 1 ‘I Got U’ by Duke Dumont and Jax Jones. Not only a household name in the dance realm, Kelli-Leigh has toured with the likes of Leona Lewis and Jessie J and even sang as backing vocals on Adele’s lauded album 21.
Since launching her solo career, Kelli-Leigh has accrued a loyal fanbase, with over 4 million Spotify streams across her solo independent releases and support from the likes of Kiss FM, Radio 1, Sirius XM and Gaydio. Creating her own imprint, Music Core in 2018, as well as trailblazing work supporting independent musicians, partnering with Hypertribe for her ‘Fresh Dose’ playlist, Kelli-Leigh’s unwavering passion for music and the arts shines through everything she does.
