Francesco Dogliani, known as his moniker AYKO, has always taken inspiration from his environment, both musically and emotionally. As with most artists, AYKO digests the world around him and Life experiences that later become alchemized into his music. As a seasoned alchemist of over 20 years, AYKO has built a name for himself through his signature emotive and melodic sound, with former releases on labels such as Maro Picotto’s Alchemy imprint (IT). Today, he’s taking a new “Life” direction in his newest single.

Pivoting away from his regular melodic techno, “Life” is an electro-pop vibe telling a common and relatable story on the human experience of love and moving on. Rightly named, “Life” embodies the age-old tale of willingly and necessarily separating from a lover, while reminding us happiness can still be found even in the fog of uncertainty. With an air and message of hope, “Life” is not a repentance but a reflection on strong emotions, relationships, and free will.
To accompany the track is a beautifully done music video not to miss. The animations give a stunning depiction of the journey being told through the lyrics – heartrending and emotive from “Don’t call my name I won’t be there no more” to given glimpses of hope “I see now the wings I’ve got in my life….” Don’t be surprised if some tears start to sting your eyes!
