Ultra Europe has just closed their gates for another absolutely dynamite year and Martin Garrix definitely brought the heat with his impeccable set. And he will continue to make things sizzle as he has just announced that he is making his Armani Exchange debut this coming Fall/Winter.
Fans got a preview of the Dutch producer’s other talents this week as he showcased his modeling skills and undeniable good looks through his official Armani Exchange headshots seen below.
On and off stage, Martin Garrix has always proven to be a style guru with his comfortable, classic, and unique choices of clothing. In an e-mailed statement, he has expressed: “I am very thankful and very happy with how everything turned out. To me, Armani Exchange is elegant, but it’s also ahead of the curve.” That said, his fans from around the world and also the creative fashion industry absolutely can’t wait to see what the number one DJ in the world (ranked by DJ Mag Top 100 2016) will wear in the upcoming campaign.
Giorgio Armani and his team didn’t want to stop there – they are sparking even more attention as they have also booked the wonderful Chinese singer and actor Li Yifeng and the incredibly versatile Cara Delevinge to model alongside the DJ. Giorgio Armani says,
“FOR THIS CAMPAIGN, I WANTED THREE FACES CAPABLE OF RECOUNTING THE INDIVIDUALIST A|X SPIRIT IN A NOVEL, UNCONVENTIONAL WAY. THREE DIFFERENT AND SURPRISING INDIVIDUALS, ALL CREATIVE AND FREE IN THEIR EXPRESSION AND WHOM I WANTED TO ENVELOP IN ARMANI STYLE. CARA DELEVINGNE IS AN IRREVERENT, CHAMELEON-LIKE CHARACTER INTERPRETING DIFFERENT AESTHETICS AND PHILOSOPHIES; MARTIN GARRIX, WHO IS CAPABLE OF MAKING MAGIC WITH MUSIC; AND LI YIFENG, A MULTI-FACETED TALENT WHO SPEAKS TO A VAST AUDIENCE. A|X IS ARMANI STYLE IN ITS MOST METROPOLITAN, FREE SELF JUST LIKE MY THREE TESTIMONIALS,”
As the Fall and Winter seasons are slowly approaching fans are eagerly awaiting to see the electronic dance music scene’s hottest artist heat things up during those cold months!

Known for supposedly creating hits for DVBBS and Tiesto among others, Maarten Vorwerk is now a recognized name within the EDM scene. A while back he released a tweet which goes to show how popular the ghost-producer is:
<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”tr”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>Just found out that I haven't been out of the beatport charts since 2011. 🍾🍾🍾</p>— Maarten Vorwerk (@MaartenVorwerk) <a href=”https://twitter.com/MaartenVorwerk/status/676139956205555712″>13 Aralık 2015</a></blockquote>

Jef Miles – ‘Make Me (Cry)’ – Noah Cyrus, nothing short of a familiar face when it comes to mainstream media, with being the younger sibling to worldwide sensation Miley Cyrus and daughter of country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. The 17-year-old released her debut single, ‘Make Me (Cry)’ back in 2016 featuring English born and bred phenomenon, Labrinth. Fast-forward to now, admired Vancouver based duo Jef Miles consisting of Jeffery David Harris and Myles Power, have implemented their own depiction to the hit.
Jef Miles has received outstanding support from one of the industry’s most influential DJs, Tiësto, through his Club Life radio show. Jef Miles is certainly an EDM duo to keep on watch for, as they’re rumbling beneath the surface, about to break through at any moment.
The remix kicks off delightfully, with Noah‘s vocals glistening over the underlying piano that just puts you in awe. It further builds up into a monumental drop, driven by the power of the acoustic drums and a solid chord structure, which is enlightened by vocal chops which guides it into a unique break-down. Throughout the breakdown, the vocals are escorted by its double that is transposed down to bring the tension up as we move on into yet again a mammoth drop.
ULTRA EUROPE CELEBRATES LANDMARK FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
OVER 120,000 REVELLERS ATTEND FROM 148 COUNTRIES
3.3 MILLION TUNE IN TO LIVESTREAM
ULTRA EUROPE RETURNS JULY 6-8, 2018
Destination Ultra returned to Croatia’s Dalmatian coast this past week, as over 120,000 attendees from 148 countries enjoyed the weeklong array of events. The flagship event, ULTRA Europe, was streamed live via UMFTV with hours of continuous dance music reaching 3.3 million viewers worldwide.
Kicking off on Thursday, July 13, Nicole Moudaber presented MOOD at the RESISTANCE Opening Party at the Giraffe Palm Beach House, bringing along special guests Cristoph and Hito, all of whom laid down an impressive display of house and techno at the waterfront venue. The jubilant atmosphere at the packed club set the celebratory tone for the festivities to come.
The main event, ULTRA Europe, drew over 100,000 fans across three days. Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Hardwell closed the ULTRA Main Stage each night while Dubfire B2B Nicole Moudaber, Carl Cox and Sasha & John Digweed capped off proceedings on the RESISTANCE stage. B2B sets were the theme of the weekend for RESISTANCE with seven head-to-head performances across the three days.
As the Dalmatian sun set each night, the four stages in and around the Poljud Stadium were doused in a warm orange glow, as the music and atmosphere became increasingly electric. By the time the smoke had settled from the huge firework displays at the Poljud Stadium, festivalgoers were left with an inimitable and unforgettable experience. With a surprise set from Afrojack on the Arcadia Spectacular ‘Afterburner’ along with scores of exclusive track premieres across the festival, the weekend was a constant source of wonder.
The sheer magnitude of the weeklong series of events saw revellers enjoy performances from over 140 world-class electronic acts across seven stages, on three islands and the Croatian mainland. From the Regatta on the island of Brač, to the 5000 strong ULTRA Beach ‘the greatest pool party on earth’ (The Sun – 2017) on the island of Hvar, Destination Ultra left no stone unturned. Culminating with RESISTANCE Vis at the ancient Fort George on the final day, Sasha B2B Nic Fanciulli closed the week in epic style and rounded off another successful year for ‘Europe’s Premier Destination Music Festival.’
ULTRA Europe is confirmed to return on July 6-8, 2018.
