VAULTBOY COLLABORATES WITH GRACEY FOR REMIX OF DEBUT VIRAL SINGLE “everything sucks”

(New York, NY): Rising singer-songwriter vaultboy has released the 2nd remix of his explosively viral debut single, “everything sucks,” featuring BRIT-nominated Popstar, GRACEY. Named by Rolling Stone as the “King of Sad Songs”; this remix follows the original release of vaultboy’s “everything sucks” on May 21st, along with its Eric Nam remix on August 13th. Having only one official release under his belt at the time, “everything sucks” skyrocketed not only to the #1 spot on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart, but also hit #1 on the Western music chart in China for two weeks straight, beating out Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause.”

A snippet of “everything sucks” was initially released as a part of a vaultboy’s 30-day songwriting challenge on TikTok. The original sound on TikTok went viral amongst listeners, with videos containing “everything sucks” collectively amassing over 320 million views on the platform, with many requests for the release of the full version. Within the last three months, vaultboy has garnered close to 500k new followers on TikTok taking his total following on the platform to over 1.1 million. Along with the “everything sucks” remixes; vaultboy released his 2nd original track “aftermath” on September 3rd, a track inspired by a past relationship. All of which has landed vaultboy in notable publications such as Rolling Stone, iHeart, MTVNMEThe Line Of Best FitOnes to Watch, and more still to be released.

vaultboy is a singer-songwriter and popular TikTok influencer from Jacksonville, Florida, who first began experimenting with music during high school and has since been perfecting and growing his craft. In 2018, vaultboy started live-streaming himself singing, performing, and also gaming full-time. In late 2020, he officially debuted on TikTok as vaultboy, a name that pays homage to his love of video games, specifically the Fallout series.
