Rising star AJ Christou and Canadian dancefloor powerhouse and turntablist A-Trak’s deep, dreamy label debut on Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music features Chicago house legend Robert Owens on vocals and marks an impressive start to the label’s year.
After a busy 2024 that saw Christou make his Space Miami debut for Jones’ Paradise event and host his own label showcase at Hï Ibiza, he’s back in the studio with A-Trak, the New York-based luminary whose 25-year legacy includes Coachella performances, BBC Radio 1 Essential mixes, and global anthems as Duck Sauce alongside Arman Van Helden.

Following their successful 2024 collaboration ‘Sway’ on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, the pair now deliver another killer track with ‘Escape’. The cut opens with a smooth and funky vibe, layering seductive house rhythms, weighty drums, and Robert Owen’s alluring vocals to create a luscious wave of late-night wonkiness. The Temple Dub then takes over with Owens’ vocals at the forefront, set against a nimble bassline, snappy percussion, and sizzling synths.
