‘LET IT HAPPEN’ rears up drenched in acid squelch, opening the EP with playful electro drums and skittering high-end while dark, saturated rave melodies permeate throughout. ‘LET IT SPEAK’ slows things down, incorporating deep, driving frequencies and beautiful trippy synthesis before ambient track ‘LET IT GO’ entices the listener into a mysterious and hypnotic dreamscape, replacing rhythmical elements with cavernous, distorted atmospherics.
Alongside his career as a classical musician and DJ performing live sets across Europe, Akali Akali frequently contributes audiovisual pieces as a multimedia composer crafting complex original samples and loops for the art world and beyond. He now launches new record label BRU BRU BRU BRU with a versatile three-track EP, built for the dancefloor, yet with a common sonic DNA carrying an intricate cinematic edge.
