Indie/Pop songwriter Alex Di Leo’s latest single, “Snowing In July” is an emotional tribute to love and heartbreak. Using his personal pain to channel some of his best work to date, his previous single “Call It A Night” also features strong, soulful vocals, paired with a poignant storyline. Produced and co-written by Zack Djurich (Kanye West, YBN Cordae), the single shows more personal growth than ever before, exploring themes of breaking toxic cycles and listening to your own instincts.

On “Snowing In July”, Alex Di Leo shares its meaning, “when it’s your first summer without your lover and it feels more like the coldest and loneliest winter.”

Alex Di Leo kicked off the year opening for Milky Chance and is only just getting started, with more shows being announced shortly.
Alex Di Leo, originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, got his start in music when his grandmother gifted him an acoustic guitar for his 10th birthday. After playing in local bands, during his high school years, he dedicated himself to refining his vision as a solo artist. Arriving in November 2016, his debut EP ‘So We Go’ landed Di Leo on the top 20 at more than 100 college radio stations across the country and also made him the first local artist to end up in rotation on Miami alternative radio station 104.3 FM The Shark. Over the coming years, he appeared at major festivals like Riptide, SunFest, supporting Barns Courtney, X Ambassadors, and then toured around the U.S. with the Plain White T’s and Knox Hamilton. Alex released his sophomore EP ‘Strange Open Land’ in 2018.
Now in 2022 and at work on his first album, Di Leo notes that all the upheaval of the past few years has brought on an intense period of personal growth. “I’m realizing now that it was important for me to go through everything that’s happened,” he points out. And as he’s gained a new level of self-understanding, Di Leo has begun following his instincts more boldly than ever—a move that profoundly impacted his artistry leading him to open for Milky Chance at BellyUp in Aspen in February and his recent singles, ‘Following Feelings’, ‘Better Place’, and ‘Call It a Night’.
