Argentina’s Artlab continues its 10th anniversary celebrations with a highly anticipated second part of its commemorative vinyl series, arriving on the 17th September. Building on the momentum of the inaugural release in May, featuring Barem, Solimano, Janeret & Miroloja, and Random Factor, this second collection further cements the cultural centre’s status as a beacon for cutting-edge sound, bringing together a refined selection of artists in Voitgmann, Mateo Dufour, Franco Cinelli, and Revivis. Embodying the club’s forward-thinking spirit, this instalment reaffirms Artlab’s dedication to its multidisciplinary roots, providing another diverse trip that continues to define the next decade of its artistic journey.
The A-Side opens via Toi.Toi.Musik co-founder and Subsequent label boss Voigtmann, who steps up to deliver ‘Casual’, a hypnotic, electro-tinged cut designed to lock dancefloors into a steady, driving trance. Up next, Argentinian DJ/producer Mateo Dufour, a key part of the Key Producciones crew and No Art regular, takes the reins with ‘Space Child’, a classy, mysterious house cut that bridges deep atmospheres and rhythmic precision. On the flip, one of Argentina’s best-known electronic exports, Franco Cinelli, presents ‘Ecos Perdidos’, a dub-infused, hypnotic number that explores deep, resonant soundscapes. Closing out the VA, Santo Tomas label boss Revivis’ classy ‘L.T.F.U’ captures an infectious energy, making it an essential anthem as we delve back into club season.
