Seattle-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist AudioGust is slated to release ‘Amaze You’, a new single that trades on the kind of emotionally grounded optimism that has defined his output across more than four dozen recordings. Slated for release on 5th June 2026, the track arrives ahead of a forthcoming album due on 17th July – marking a significant moment in an independent career that stretches back to the analogue recording studios of the 1980s.
Built around synthesisers, piano, bass, drums, and layered backing vocals, ‘Amaze You’ sits comfortably within the adult alternative and indie pop-rock territory that AudioGust has made his own, drawing natural comparisons to Andy Grammer, OneRepublic, and The Fray. The track’s emotional lift is earned rather than assumed; its key lyric, ‘Maybe I’ll remind you of the storms that just blow through / Or maybe I’ll amaze you’, frames a narrator not making grand promises but simply asking for the opportunity to show up differently. The bridge strips away instrumentation entirely for an acapella vocal section that confronts doubt directly before the final chorus rebuilds around it.
AudioGust has spoken candidly about where the song began. As he explains:
‘Amaze You is about trying to earn someone’s trust instead of demanding it. The person in the song has every reason to be skeptical, and the narrator understands that. Rather than making huge promises, it’s about showing up consistently and hoping that over time you might surprise someone in a good way. I think there’s something optimistic and human about that.’
That human quality – the willingness to sit with someone else’s skepticism rather than argue against it – gives ‘Amaze You’ a distinctive warmth that distinguishes it from more straightforwardly triumphant fare. The song’s production, handled entirely by AudioGust himself as is standard across his catalogue, reflects his long-standing philosophy: that emotional honesty and strong melodic construction are more enduring than any technological trend.
AudioGust has been releasing music under his current project for several years, with albums Walk With Me, Here We Go Again, and Falling From Down forming the backbone of a catalogue that spans guitar-driven post-grunge energy and reflective piano-led introspection. His most recent album, Falling From Down, drew favourable attention from Ringmaster Review, who noted his ability to navigate instability and resilience across a cohesive record arc, calling it “one of this year’s finest and truly enjoyable all-involving proposals”. ‘Amaze You’ suggests the forthcoming album will continue that trajectory while tilting further toward melodic warmth and accessibility.
Alongside his music output, AudioGust is also the creator of StudioNotes, an app developed for songwriters, producers, and artists who want a structured way to manage their creative work. From lyric drafts and recordings through to release metadata and splits, the app reflects the same ethos that runs through his music: that careful organisation and long-term thinking serve the creative process rather than constrain it. With the new album due in July, StudioNotes is also a timely arrival for independent artists navigating an increasingly self-managed industry.
‘Amaze You’ will be available across all major streaming platforms.
