Bonnie and the Jets are back with their new track ‘Diamonds & Gold’

Following a string of critically acclaimed singles and highly energetic live shows, Norwegian based soul-rock  band Bonnie and the Jets are back with their new track ‘Diamonds & Gold’, the final single before their second  full-length album ‘II’ drops digitally on October 17th

Bonnie and the Jets are a hard-working soul-rock band on the rise, and with their dedicated approach to music, they  have managed to make a name for themselves both internationally and at home. With their admiration for the sound of the  ’60s and ’70s, combined with innovative songwriting and a personal touch in every single little detail, they can truly be  considered as pioneers of the soul-rock genre

Bonnie and the Jets have established themselves as one of Norway’s most exciting bands, known for their powerful live  presence, charismatic frontwoman, and a sound that mixes vintage warmth with a modern punch. They debuted with their  outstanding self-titled album in 2022 and have since built a steadily growing fanbase both at home and abroad. Both their

live and recorded performance have achieved positive support from press, across the globe, including ‘Best Song of the  Year’ from British radio station Radio WigWam

The thematic core of ‘Diamonds & Gold’…

‘Diamonds & Gold’ is a powerful yet intimate song about self-respect and self-worth. It reflects on what we choose to  value in ourselves in a world that often shouts loudest about superficial ideals. Bonnie describes the emotional core of  their new single, revealing how “We wanted to create a song that feels both strong and personal, something that reminds  you of your own worth, no matter what you’re going through.” The track continues the band’s signature blend of soul and  rock, and it was recorded at Lekerommet Studio, Oslo in the winter of 2024!

A new era for Bonnie and the Jets!

After months in the studio and a series of powerful singles, soul-rock band Bonnie and the Jets are set to release their  second full-length album ‘II’, which marks a bold new chapter for the band. It explores important themes such as  karma, identity, and reinvention. Rooted in their signature soul-rock sound – with vintage warmth and a forward-thinking  edge – the album blends soaring anthems with intimate, emotionally charged moments. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and innovative. The record features brilliant guest appearances from Marius Lien & Stian Carstensen,  capturing the feel of their Norwegian roots.

‘II’ is the second album in their planned interconnected trilogy (With the third instalment arriving in 2026!) and Bonnie  describes how “This album is a kind of journey through the past couple of years; both personally and musically, it’s about  shifting, letting go, rebuilding… we’ve gone deeper, taken more risks, and tried to be as honest as possible.  Reinvention has been a key part of that.”

With singles like ‘House of Creation’, and ‘Naked’ the band has already offered a glimpse into the emotional and sonic  landscape of ‘II’ – where big choruses meet raw vulnerability and nerve, and ‘Diamonds & Gold’ is a superb reminder of  that incredible style! With ‘II’, the band embraces both evolution and reflection, it represents not just a continuation, but a  reinvention – musically, emotionally, and creatively.
