BUKU Music + Art Project Announces Social Impact Campaign To Encourage Community Action With Propeller, Second Harvest Food Bank, Upbeat Academy, And Glass Half Full

BUKU Music + Art Project and social impact platform, Propeller, are teaming up to engage fans and drive action for important causes that advocate for Climate Change, LGBTQ+ Rights, Mental Health, Racial Injustice, Voting and more!

Fans will complete actions such as donating, signing petitions, pledging to vote, volunteering and more to win prizes and earn a ticket to BUKU 2022. Participants earn points for every action they take. As their points rack up, they can redeem them for a free ticket to BUKU, entries towards winning a VIP trip to the festival, or other rewards!

In the summer of 2020, BUKU and Upbeat Academy, partnered to launch the Take Action Project (“TAP”) with both the immediate and long-term mission of 1) using BUKU’s platform to elevate awareness around issues of systemic racism, minority oppression and social & environmental sustainability, and 2) taking action by organizing campaigns to generate donations and volunteer efforts in solidarity with social & environmental justice organizations.
