About Camden Cox
Lauded for her instinctive songwriting, velvety-soft vocals and in-depth knowledge of club music, Camden Cox has more than earned her reputation as a dance music all-rounder. This dynamic artist’s penchant for combining silky falsettos with raucous beats has not only placed her as an in-demand collaborator for the electronic world’s biggest names, but a star in her own right — amassing over 100 million streams on Spotify.
Hailing from the East Midlands, Camden’s childhood was soundtracked by an eclectic blend of music from her drummer father and her drum ‘n’ bass promoter mother. In 2018 Camden got her first taste of commercial success with Basada’s ‘Good Vibes’ — hitting #1in Belgium, Spain and France, and 14 million global streams. From there, she has gone on to work with the likes of Tiesto, Gorgon City, Solardo, Jax Jones, John Summit, Secondcity, Deadmau5 , Kaskade and more.
As her feature artist/songwriter career went from strength to strength, Camden would attract the attention of storied house imprint Defected Records, who helped to position her as an electronic act in her own right, with a handful of high-energy releases on its off-shoot, D4Dance. Since then, singles such as ‘Over’, ‘Gold’, ‘Lady Love’ and ‘Oblivion’ have earned her acclaim from tastemakers such as Clash, DJ Mag, and Notion and even the coveted title of “Track of the Week” from BBC Radio 1’s Arielle Free. Camden has performed across the globe including London’s Printworks, Boardmasters, EDC Las Vegas, supporting Ellie Goulding at KOKO, and completed an eye-watering stint in Ibiza — with slots at O Beach, supporting Becky Hill’s Ibiza Rocks residency and a “pinch me moment” booking at BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend.
