Cap’n Marble is back to tease us with ‘First Book’, a new single that blends baroque pop with bedroom pop. Longing, melodic vocals work around acoustic strums and vox organs bringing its listeners back to the 1960s. ‘First Book’ is infused with laid back vocals and a psychedelic pop sounding similar to The Beach Boys.
The indie pop duo released their debut EP “Come 2 California” on March 13, 2020, a concept EP that serves as an ode to their home state. They soon followed up with the single “Bed of Sun” on May 22, 2020. They have announced an upcoming single as well as their debut full-length album, which has been in the works for over a year.
