Cassy London unveils fierce fresh cut ‘Her’ on May 5, 2023
Global alt-pop sensation Cassy London returns with her first single of the year with the brand new release ‘Her’. The song is an expression of vulnerability and heartbreak and was inspired by Cassy’s own experience of betrayal in a relationship. While the mood is tinged with sadness and introspection, it is ultimately an anthem about picking yourself up after a painful experience and will no doubt empower all that listen.
In her own words about the track, Cassy London shared, “Her” is about being honest with yourself, even if it hurts. It reflects the emotional rollercoaster within yourself after feeling vulnerable and heartbroken by being betrayed by someone you love. As an optimistic person, I do hope that listeners can feel empowered in the end, and realize you can pick yourself up and put the pieces back together after a painful experience.
‘Her’ follows on from recent releases ‘Yellow Bricks’ and ‘New Age’, which gained international recognition, making their way to the world of radio, acclaimed publications such as Notion and Earmilk as well as numerous top Spotify, Apple, and YouTube playlists in Germany, Sweden, UK, US and Asia.
