A groove-heavy, vocal-driven record lands on Armada Music, with a deeper Terrace Mix to follow for open-air sessions.

Charlie Boon releases ‘Words’ – a track that found its crowd on the dancefloor before it ever had a release date.

‘Words’ first surfaced at UNVRS Ibiza in 2025, when Jamie Jones, Rossi and Josh Baker dropped it back-to-back, and it has stayed in the underground conversation ever since. Seeded to DJs ahead of release, it has drawn early reactions from Agoria, Adriatique, Joseph Capriati, Claptone, TSHA, Gorgon City, Anna Lunoe and Marco Carola.

At its centre is a seriously infectious vocal hook, carried by a rolling bassline and crisp, club-focused drums. The Original Mix is built for peak time, while the Terrace Mix, releasing on 20 November, strips it back into something deeper and more hypnotic for open-air sessions in territories heading into warmer seasons. It is the clearest example yet of what Boon does best: raw underground energy with modern dancefloor appeal.

Speaking about the track, Charlie Boon says: “Wow I can’t tell you how excited I am to get this record out into the world, a year of playing it out, seeing some of my favourite DJs play it out and now it’s finally getting released means the world to me. Still don’t know the lyrics though.”
