Today, Caribbean-Belgian artist Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul share a performance video of or her new single “Bear With Me (and I’ll stand bare before you)” which was released earlier this year on DEEWEE – the label from Grammy- nominated artists David & Stephen Dewaele AKA Soulwax/2manydjs.

Adigéry and Pupul’s performance was directed by Jorre Janssens and previewed in the latest episode of DEEWEE’s audio & broadcasting service DEEWEE TEEVEE. On the performance video Charlotte says, “We wanted to play a stripped down version of Bear With Me, where for once guitars were more on the foreground instead of our beloved synths…but the guitars ended up sounding like synths in the end. Proud to be part of this utterly absurd and genius concept that is DEEWEE TEEVEE.”

Conceived and produced remotely across 6 different countries, DEEWEE TEEVEE provides a workaround way of presenting unique performances and visual narratives at a time where music lovers’ crave for concerts or music-related gatherings of any kind. The majority of the series was filmed in the recording room of STUDIO DEEWEE, the building where most tracks on the label’s new compilation FOUNDATIONSwere written, recorded, produced and mixed. DEEWEE TEEVEE meets our current time’s attention span: “We jump from one idea to another, flipping between original segments, live performances and remixed archives, drifting across the many planes of the DEEWEE universe.”
