Chemical Surf ‘Terremoto EP’ STMPD RCRDS

Brazilian DJ and production duo Chemical Surf have unveiled their new EP ‘Terremoto’. Crafted with the dancefloor in mind, the four-track release opens with the title track, a grooving tech-house cut that builds to a cultured crescendo. The remaining three tracks have all previously been released as singles on STMPD RCRDS. ‘El Tiempo’ is a melodic jam with a dancefloor-destroying drop, and ‘Walking In Chicago’ is the rawest track on the record, pairing robotic vocoder vocals with a stripped-down house beat. October release ‘Cheddar’, a collaboration with Breaking Beattz , follows a similar formula to ‘Terremoto’, channelling deep, intense club energy that possesses some serious groove.
