CONCERTA announces her debut EP ‘Consumption’ and the launch of SYLQ Records

Seoul-based DJ and producer CONCERTA first made her mark by leading the merchandise  business for Hyundai Motor Company’s high-performance brand N, where she oversaw brand  strategy and visual identity. Drawing on this experience, she built a unique artistic world that merges  music and branding, establishing herself as a true DIY artist who directs every part of her creative  process. Her artist name, inspired by an ADHD medication, reflects her vision:

“I want my music to seize your full attention and draw you into complete immersion.”

She pursues a retro-futuristic aesthetic, seeking to deliver moments of deep immersion and  emotional healing to people living fast-paced lives in today’s hectic, desolate world.

About the EP: ‘Consumption’

‘CONCERTA’s debut EP ‘CONSUMPTION’ is a fully integrated project combining music, visual art, and brand identity.

Each title is arranged alphabetically, a deliberate Easter egg pointing to CONCERTA’s long‑term  “A‑to‑Z” project — her ambition to create tracks titled from A through Z across her career.

“This EP marks the first chapter of my musical journey. I wanted to build a narrative of  emotion and immersion while introducing the vision of SYLQ Records to the world.”  — CONCERTA

About SYLQ Records:

Founded by CONCERTA in 2025, SYLQ Records is an independent label blending sound, design,  and identity. It embodies her DIY spirit — creating immersive experiences that connect music,  visuals, and emotion into one coherent flow. Recently, SYLQ has also launched an official YouTube  podcast channel, where fans can experience CONCERTA’s live performances and future live  streams.

The launch of SYLQ Records

The launch party for ‘Consumption’ took place at CCCS Salon, one of Seoul’s hottest venues,  marking the successful debut of SYLQ Records. The entire event was planned and executed solely  by CONCERTA herself, with vinyl production and release taking place live on site — a testament to  her identity as a true DIY artist.

The night drew a packed crowd, featuring custom photomatic frames, limited‑edition vinyl, and  carefully curated brand elements that came together to create an immersive expression of her  artistic vision.

Artist story & future plans

From an early age, CONCERTA was deeply influenced by film soundtracks from the 1990s, weaving  her lifestyle experiences from various cities into her music. She has demonstrated her DIY spirit by personally overseeing every stage of her work — from production and label creation to design, vinyl  pressing, and global distribution. Looking ahead, CONCERTA aims to expand into the European  scene and pursue global collaborations, continuing to explore innovative blends of music and visual  storytelling through SYLQ Records. She has also launched the SYLQ YouTube channel, where she  plans to host and curate a podcast series. She intends to keep forging her own path, entirely on her  own terms.

Personal highlight:

When it comes to some of her biggest achievements thus far, CONCERTA reveals how “One of my  most unforgettable experiences was DJing at Hyundai N’s booth during the 24 Hours of Nürburgring  in 2024! I performed a set blending techno and nostalgic ’90s trance, and the crowd’s reaction was  absolutely incredible. That moment reminded me once again of music’s power to connect energy  and culture beyond borders.”

With her debut EP Consumption and its lead single now available, CONCERTA is closing 2025  in style — the beginning of an ambitious new chapter.

‘Consumption’ is available across major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music,  and YouTube, allowing listeners worldwide to experience CONCERTA’s sound.
