Anjunadeep are delighted to unveil ‘Miracles’, the new album from Christophe Dubé, aka CRi. One of our fastest-rising stars, his music is as expressive and exciting as the man himself, and this is a release that we have been looking forward to sharing for some time.
Across 11 tracks, CRi presents an incredible diversity of sounds and influences, from drum & bass to indie, from electronic to chillout. However, CRi is not the only star of his own album, and ‘Miracles’ showcases the talents of a wide range of artists inluding longtime collaborators Jesse Mac Cormack and Sophia Bel; and new friends Half Moon Run, Everyone You Know, Klô Pelgag, and Anjunadeep regular HANA.
“Composed these last three years in all four corners of the globe. The touring lifestyle forced me out of my comfort zone. It was a new reality for me, I had to create anywhere and everywhere; on the train, on a park bench, on the plane, in my hotel room and of course in my studio.
The more it progressed, the less I felt the need to control my environment, the more I was attentive to it. Every little miracle, (looking at you Victor ) that happened around me became a source of inspiration… Nightlife and the gatherings that come with it are a big part of my life (again) but also preparing for dadhood and I think you can feel that dichotomy in my music.
