Australian-born, Netherlands-based singer-songwriter and storyteller Dan Tuffy returns with “Your Horse Has Bolted Billy Boy”, the second single from his forthcoming album Silky Moves, due out April 2027. A deeply personal farewell to his late father, the song explores love, grief and the bittersweet wonder of being alive. Blending atmospheric electro-folk, soulful storytelling and a quietly uplifting spirit, Dan creates a moving meditation on loss and gratitude. A song that walks the fine line between emotional overwhelm, and the extraordinary beauty of life. Recorded live with drums, guitar and vocals before being layered with cello, bass and synthesizers, the track captures an intimate, organic performance with a richly textured sonic landscape.
