Fresh from his winter collaboration with the dancehall icon Stylo G, UK songwriter Daniel Sheehy marks his return for the summer with the afro-leaning pop single ‘Mars’.

This new direction in sound is a sign of things to come for Sheehy, who further demonstrates that he is in a lane of his own. It’s a track that embraces the ability to set a goal and achieve it, symbolising the fact that there is no limit to what he can achieve in life. This confidence and determination is accompanied by a vibrant production full of groove and soul, pairing glistening guitar lines with a deep bassline to complete the dancehall mould.
Daniel Sheehy first made his mark on the music industry beatboxing for the likes of Elro, Saskilla, Griminal and Johnny Gurz, making a name for himself in the UK underground rap scene. Not one to be pigeon-holed, he released his debut single ‘Angel’ ft Terrorsum, a pop track that signified his range and ambition as an artist.
‘Mars’ drops 9th June and is set to bring in the summer months with a bang.
