Diasporic dance duo Dave + Sam present their follow-up single ‘Not The Same’, hot on the heels of previous Classic single ‘Just A Man’. The two established artists joined forces back in 2016, bursting onto the scene with unique tracks that combine hip hop and other rhythmic genres with modern house sensibilities and outside-the-box thinking.
Working closely with Classic, the New York and Los Angeles based artists quickly established a signature Dave + Sam feel and continued to impress tastemakers worldwide with their subsequent releases. For this latest release, ‘Not The Same’, the pair deliver a more minimal outing, focusing on addictive repeated lyrics that carry a stoic bravado while electronic pulses twist the track into something much darker.
