Dawty and BSHP team up on summer sizzler “Sunny Days”

Dropping a transatlantic ode to easygoin’ summertime bliss and bass-heavy feelgood vibes, US producer Dawty hooks up with UK’s up-and-coming singer/songwriter sensation bshp for a sizzling summer anthem: “Sunny Days” season is here!

Arriving hot on the heels of BSHP’s debut solo smash “Sweet,” the Kent-born singer couldn’t care less about the little everyday mishaps – because summer is finally here: “Missed your call/You missed mine/But I know that we’ll pick up when it’s time,” she sings over Dawty’s irresistible production with a dancefloor-ready beat and a bass-line that’s so heavy even Tame Impala couldn’t lift it… A perfect soundtrack for this year’s hottest weeks, “Sunny Days” is all about feelgood vibes: BSHP obviously can’t wait to “sip drinks with umbrellas/with lime juice and ginger and gin,” or tan “till my skin is turning cinnamon…”

Born and raised in Kent, Gabriella Bishop aka BSHP (often spelled “bshp”) is an exciting new voice in British Pop, R&B, and Dance: Since bursting on to the scene with her earliest recordings, she has been on a massive UK tour with Sigala – and recently became the face of Jaguar’s entertainment division. A co-writer and feature guest of Disciple’s triple platinum single “Solid Gold” (2021; 13m+ Spotify), she kickstarted 2023 with “Oh Baby,” a top-40 success recorded with Nathan Dawe, Bru C & Issey Cross (#35 UK; 13m Spotify). Following a series of heartfelt ballads and up-tempo tracks, she recently signed a new deal with Universal Germany and dropped her debut track “Sweet” only a few weeks back. Apart from that, she also featured on the soundtrack to forthcoming film “Sumotherhood” (starring Ed Sheeran and Stormzy).

Based in sunny Southern California, San Diego’s Dawty (aka Dawty Music) has been a defining force in Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop and EDM for 15+ years: Founded in 2008, the in-demand producer, DJ, and musician (born Warren Kurtiss) has been writing and recording with a steadily growing list of #1 artists, including Akon, Nicky Jam, Hugel, Tory Lanez, French Montana, Janelle Monae, Ne-Yo, Wale, Sean Kingston, Snoop Dogg, Shaggy, Estelle, Boyz II Men, and Teddy Riley, to name a few. Dawty’s genre-defying productions have garnered 100m+ combined streams across platforms.
