Yesterday, Sunday, August 9, over 200,000 fans logged on as DJ/producer DESTRUCTO celebrated the sunrise with a three-hour set at an undisclosed remote secret location somewhere in the California desert.

His latest session took fans outside the home and into nature as he soundtracked the sunrise with multiple sweeping camera angles captured the majestic desert scenery and incredible natural light show around him. The set began at 4am in the dark of night and stretched through nocturnal dawn into the full light of day with a set of recent productions such as MISINGO’s “This Is Our Home” and new unreleased material like “Late Night G” and other never-heard-before demos to classic underground tunes like a vintage white label vinyl remix of Led Zeppelin’s “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” and old school jams by Young American Primitive and Jam & Spoon (“Stella”) to end it up.
The Sunrise Sermon–where the music starts just before the sun rises–is a fan favorite of DESTRUCTO’s repertoire. From underground parties in Los Angeles to Shambhala, DESTRUCTO’s DJ sets have provided a spiritual experience for electronic music enthusiasts making dancing through sunrise a one-of-a-kind moment. Since safer at home measures have been put into effect, DESTRUCTO and his has welcomed viewers into his home for several Sunrise Sermons as well as been joined by the likes of Bob Moses, Boys Noize, Dita Von Teese and others remotely from their homes garnering hundreds of thousands of views on Twitch.
