Self-produced and independently written in her home in Norfolk, ‘Another Woman’ marks a new chapter for hotly tipped solo artist DEWEY.

With the last few years bringing immeasurable challenges, DEWEY has taken stock, evolved her craft and grown to new levels. Sharing a little more, she explains :’ Another Woman is a song about accepting that although sometimes my physical body is limiting, my soul is not.

We are all part of everything, connected in the invisible with a purpose and a reason to live. The electricity in the pylons and the telephone lines; a mouthpiece and tether to earth, our nature to communicate. But beyond words I feel more capable of connecting with the atmospheric and wordless aspects of life through love, nature and art, and I believe that there is more to life than what we see and say in this realm. “

With threads of DEWEY’s past in her new work, touching back to her two part album ‘Soller Pt. 1 (2020) & Soller pt.2 (2021) still remains a relevant body of work and a timeless display of her unfolding sound. Her early music saw her working with the likes of Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey, which has allowed for her to develop her ethereal sound, landing her on the cusp of fantasy and reality.

Preciously scooping support from the likes of The Sunday Times, Dazed, COLORS, Clash & Pitchfork, plus radio support from the likes of Jamz Supernova at 1xtra, Lauren Laverne at 6 Music and Jack Saunders at Radio 1 on his Future Artists show, this otherworldly artist has returned not a moment too soon.
