‘Here We Go’ follows Eldé’s 2021 single ‘Epiphany’
UK singer-songwriter Eldé has dropped new single ‘Here We Go’, out Friday 2nd July on Ultra.
Her second release following a two-year hiatus, ‘Here We Go’ is a rousing moden R&B jam that combines sophisticated strings and a bumping 2-step beat with Eldé’s flawless vocals. It follows March’s ‘Epiphany’, a single characterised by busy percussion and fluttering melodies.
“‘Here We Go’ is the ultimate girl’s girl anthem,” Eldé enthuses. “It’s all about HER believing in herself with a push from her nearest and dearest. When I was writing this all I had in mind was GIRL POWER!! I always aim to empower especially the generations below ️ as I’m a firm believer of self love, self acceptance and most importantly self belief.”
Real name Jenieqúa Quamina, Eldé realised her passion for songwriting after finishing third out of 9000 acts in TeenStar UK 2015. She released her debut EP ‘REAL’ via SoundCloud the following year, drawing inspiration from pure, real-life experiences, before following this up with ‘ABOUT US’ in 2018. Her 2019 debut album Metaphoric State of Mind Vol 1 then saw Eldé garner support from both DJ Tiiny and Sian Anderson on Capital Xtra and BBC Radio 1Xtra respectively.
Her second stellar release in quick succession, ‘Here We Go’ sees Eldé at her bold, exciting best.
