Emery Kelly returns with a gratifying alternative hip-hop single ‘SOME Life It Is’ this October, ahead of his forthcoming album ‘SOME (Some of My Emotions) dropping next year.

Hot off the back of his single ‘REBEL! REBEL!’, which gained notable support from renowned publication EARMILK and the interlude to his SOME (Some of My Emotions) album this summer, hotly-tipped talent Emery Kelly continues his blossoming solo career with an elegant yet ferocious new single ‘SOME Life It Is’.

Emery Kelly’s trademark hip-hop meets indie vibe continues with a raw and heartening sound, as he takes a slightly different direction with an even more stripped-back approach across ‘SOME Life It Is’. His new single boasts another emotive and captivating aesthetic to his growing discography, whilst maintaining an alternative rap foundation. Luscious percussion flawlessly combines with Emery’s shimmering vocals and hard-hitting bars which highlights that the versatile talent’s trailblazing doesn’t end just here.

“Weaving through a self-confident theme of being yourself, choosing your path and owning your mistakes, Emery Kelly’s cross-genre treat is rooted in strong and honest lyricism.” – EARMILK

Deeply rooted for more than a decade in the music scene, Emery Kelly is the ex-member of the popular Disney boy band Forever in Your Mind and is ready to take the world by storm through his solo artist career.

His long and revered history in music began on the  X-Factor USA Season 3 in 2013 where he was placed into the boy band by Simon Cowell which was signed by Hollywood Records. 2019 marked a notable career highlight, as Emery released the first original remake of James Brown’s ‘Get Up Offa That Thang’ with the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils, whilst last year saw the arrival of his debut single ‘Gotta Know’ and a sold out NFT collection entitled ‘Emotions By Emery Kelly’.

This multi-faceted talent has also gained a well-earned reputation for acting on multiple Netflix and Disney sitcoms – singing the theme song for ‘Best Friends Whenever’ on Disney Channel. Emery was later cast as Lucas on the 2x Emmy Nominated Netflix TV Show Alexa and Katie and as Dylan in Big Shot.

“Life gives us the opportunity to put our life into ‘something’ and when you achieve your ‘something’ through all the waves of your success and failures you can look back and say SOME Life It Is. Emery Kelly
