Erica Nockalls announces Echo And The Bunnymen UK tour dates!

English vocalist and violinist Erica Nockalls creates a dark, intense brand of alternative pop music. Her unique style is evocative, dramatic and eerily intense.

Nockalls made a name for herself collaborating with a number of renowned bands and artists ranging from The Wonder Stuff and Echo and the Bunnymen, to TronosThe Proclaimers and Immaculate Fools.

Erica will support seminal band Echo and the Bunnymen as they perform their revered album Ocean Rain with The Liverpool Philharmonic. To celebrate the announcement, Erica has unveiled a video for single Build Me a Ship alongside a b-side cover of Roxy Music’s In Every Dream Home a Heartache (feat. Jean-Charles Versari).

The video is for a track taken from Erica’s 2021 album Dark Music From A Warm Place created with Parisian studio producer/artist Jean-Charles Versari.

The record works within a genre-neutral template, swimming in honey-flavoured acid. With the use of gritty drum machines, luscious synths and unapologetic lyrics, angular violins provide an unpredictable journey. The material being cinematic from beginning to end, Nockalls produces a platform to deliver her own distinctive, brooding, off-kilter design.

Erica and Jean-Charles will perform the album live on tour with Echo And The Bunnymen with the tour kicking off on 12th September. You can catch the performance on the following dates:

Sep 12 – Nottingham • Royal Concert Hall

Sep 14 – Edinburgh • Usher Hall

Sep 16 – Liverpool • M&S Bank Arena Liverpool

Sep 18 – London • Royal Albert Hall

Build Me a Ship / In Every Dream Home a Heartache (feat. Jean-Charles Versari) is out now.
