Austrian producer filous is back with new track “Boys & Girls,” made in collaboration with singer and drummer G Flip during an in-person session in London, out today via Ultra Records.
“Boys & Girls” begins with G Flip’s angelic vocals and a very catchy background beat. The instrumentals and intermittent claps added in blend perfectly together, bringing forward a very positive, chill vibe. G Flip says of the track: “Boys & Girls was written from the perspective of a child that doesn’t fit in according to gender norms. Personally, I’ve always questioned what my place is within the gender binary and the more I question it the more I come to terms with the fact that I don’t fit within the binary at all.” This track is the perfect new add to your summer playlist!
filous’ previous single was “50 Watt Smile,” released back in February. “50 Watt Smile” is a nostalgic indie song with luscious bass tones and dreamy guitar licks, and sits as the third single off of filous’ debut album, which is set to be released toward the end of 2021.
