Disco synth-pop band le Couleur has announced a virtual launch and live performance of their upcoming album, Concorde, set to take place on the 17th of September from Le Ministère in Montreal. Filmed by five HD cameras, the show will be live-streamed worldwide and you’re invited to the party!

After the cancellation of more than 20 shows, including South by Southwest and the Francofolies de Montréal, le Couleur have been determined to provide fans with a live presentation of their new album Concorde as soon as the fall season began. A rare Franco-Canadian band with a solid reputation in countries such as the United States, Mexico, France and Brazil, le Couleur wanted to make the most of the current circumstances and give all their fans the opportunity to see them on stage in 2020. This unique concert, which will only take place once online, will also be the opportunity to discover the band’s new formation, which now includes 6 musicians on stage.
By purchasing tickets online, fans will receive a private URL to attend the live show, which will take place on Thursday, September 17th at 9pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Le Couleur will release Concorde on the 11th of September via Lisbon Lux Records. Inspired by the famed Concorde and its tragic end, this new album is filled with vintage influences that take root in psychedelia, disco, yéyé and French chanson. Here, macabre sensuality flirts with 70’s erotica for a ride you won’t soon forget! On the album is the bold and outright fun song, ‘Silhouette’ for which the band have recently recorded a video live from their respective homes.
