Mexico-born, Colorado-raised, NYC-based pop architect Gabriel Audee returns with his most urgent and anthemic release to date
‘DICHOTOMY (The Chosen Ones)’, released February 27th 2026, is a genre-bending indie-pop trap fusion built for those who, in Gabriel Audee’s own words, “pierce the veil and help people wake up.” A chant anthem for the self aware, the politically conscious, and the ones who see through the smoke and mirrors — the track arrives at a moment when its message feels more necessary than ever.
‘DICHOTOMY (The Chosen Ones)’ was built around an instrumental crafted by producer JRum, which Gabriel Audee expanded with layered electric guitar, acoustic drums, synths, and lush pads — constructing a cinematic, emotionally charged soundscape that rises and breathes with purpose. Gabriel then brought in collaborators whose voices carried the weight the song demanded: vocalist Saule Ilona Vaida delivers the hook with a luminous, dreamy tone, while rapper Lil Dee — who co-wrote his section — injects the track with a fierce, confident energy on the rap bridge.
“I was inspired by what is going on politically and spiritually in our amazing country,” Gabriel Audee explains. “I needed to have a chant anthem for the ones who see through the smoke and mirrors, the fighters and protesters who see the world for what it is.”
The track carries an intensity that sets it apart from a crowded pop landscape — empowering, moody, and powerful, with a production polish that drew early comparisons to OneRepublic, Benny Blanco, and Alex Warren. In a revealing footnote to the song’s creation, Gabriel Audee did pitch the track to OneRepublic, who responded positively to the demo — ultimately, the version with Saule Ilona Vaida and Lil Dee proved to be exactly the realisation the song deserved.
The official music video for ‘DICHOTOMY (The Chosen Ones)’ is now available on Gabriel Audee’s YouTube channel. As a filmmaker and video editor himself, Gabriel brings the same meticulous approach to the visual as the sonic. He is actively pursuing press interviews and launching a new podcast as part of the campaign rollout.
While ‘DICHOTOMY (The Chosen Ones)’ channels a spiritual, empowering intensity, Gabriel Audee’s catalogue spans the full spectrum of pop — from club-ready rap anthems to easy-driving, workout-friendly hooks. Catchy, mainstream, and genre-fluid, his music is built for every mood and every moment.
About Gabriel Audee
“I’m a pop artist who does not sing all of my songs. But every song is a true story.”
Gabriel Audee is a visionary pop creator operating across pop, hip-hop, rap, Latin, and singer-songwriter genres. As a songwriter, producer, and mix engineer, he constructs entire sonic worlds from the ground up – writing, shaping compositions, and perfecting every mix himself. His artistic identity is built on a rare premise: he designs the feeling rather than performing it, handpicking vocalists who co-write and bring each track to life.
Growing up as a closeted gay teenager in small-town Colorado, Gabriel Audee found his language through music – joining a plethora of bands throughout school, making beats, writing songs, and painting from an early age. His values of truth, philosophy, and industry disruption have become the backbone of his artistry. Spiritual before anything else, he describes his mission plainly: “I don’t sing — I design the feeling.”
Gabriel is currently completing his debut LP, ‘Pop Architect’, which features previously released singles ‘111’, ‘SUPERNOVA’, ‘CRUISIN’’, ‘LONERZ’, and ‘DICHOTOMY (The Chosen Ones)’. With placements on 100k+ Spotify playlists, Apple Music radio, and coverage from independent labels and music publications, the momentum behind his catalogue is building steadily – an exciting journey to be part of…
