Namata Records label boss and leading name in Brazilian House music, Gabriel Evoke presents the ‘Son of Mali EP’, releasing on Zero Gravity Music onMarch 27th. Evoke has received support from artists including Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Dimmish, Bushwacka!, Santé, and more for his releases on AVOTRE, Purveyor Underground, and Muzenga. ‘Son of Mali’ is an extension of his refined identity as a reference point in Brazil’s Minimal and Deep House scene.
‘Son Of Mali’ delivers three tracks built with rhythmic precision, infectious grooves, and striking basslines. Title track, ‘Son Of Mali’, blends organic percussion with a hypnotic atmosphere. Evoke joins forces with Jorge Mattos for ‘Party Time’, delivering an energetic cut marked by commanding House vocals and a driving groove. ‘Mind Games’ ends ‘Son Of Mali’, exploring a deeper and more Acidic side as subtle layers and progressive construction build an everlasting energy loop.
