GARGALO reveals brooding indie-rock single Monroes!

Monroes is the latest single release from Spanish-Canadian multi-instrumentalist, GARGALO. A brooding, ambitious indie-rock song, Monroes is cocooned by dramatic, bittersweet complexities and stadium ready bombast.

The track follows the recent release of debut single Out Of Sync and is taken from the forthcoming debut EP King of Dark Waters, due for release on 26th November 2021.

After playing in an array of bands over the years, experiencing touring life and the festival circuit. Bruno G. Roth made the decision to move to London in order to further his music career. With the global pandemic forcing him to move back to his native Spain, Bruno immediately encountered strict lockdown restrictions. Unable to leave his house for months, the enforced changes in his life, imposed by outside forces, inspired Bruno to use writing and creating as an escape mechanism. The result was the the birth of GARGALO.

Setting up a recoding studio in the back of his brother’s van, Bruno set about working on song structures and writing demos, before entering the studio, creating debut EP, King of Dark Waters. Taking inspiration from a range of bands of various genres, from the indie-rock soundscapes of Grizzly Bear to the hypnotic atmospherics of Beach House, GARGALO has produced an intimate, personal collection of songs.

Debut single Out of Sync and follow up Monroes, illustrate GARGALO’s versatility as an artist. Fluctuating from shimmering indie-pop, characterised by emotive vocals, distant harmonies, mesmerising synths and reflective lyricism, to brooding indie-rock, cocooned by dramatic, bittersweet complexities and stadium ready bombast.

GARGALO’s eclectic sound has already endeared him to tastemakers far and wide with support coming from the likes of Apple Music DailyFame MagazineFor The RabbitsTinnitistFind Your SoundThe Vinyl District and many more
