Award winning DJ/producer W/FRNDS (originally from Toronto, ON and now based in Nashville, TN) began creating music in his late teens while pursuing a professional hockey career. He’s now blending ingredients of pop, house, country, and techno to create a new flavour of music that has something for everyone.
On his latest single, “FIRST RODEO,” W/FRNDS teams up with fellow Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jordan Brynn to create a sad banger. The duo found inspiration for the track by wising up to charming people who have ill intent and not falling for their manipulation anymore.

When his former folk-rock band broke into the festival scene and started gaining industry hype, W/FRNDS’ dreams shifted from playing in areas to performing in them. When members of the band started to develop other interests, he followed his own passion and began writing and producing music for other artists. This is where he fell in love with the art of collaboration and songwriting.
Transitioning his experience from behind the scenes back to the stage, W/FRNDS’ debut single, “DNCE W/ME” feat. Lauryn Macfarlane, has been added to commercial radio stations across Canada including Stingray Music’s Hit List and won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
