Gianni Bee releases his latest single “Sunflower”

English-speaking folk singer-songwriter Gianni Bee releases his latest single, “Sunflower,” on January 26, 2024. With its soothing and nostalgic vibe, “Sunflower” is a standout track that transports listeners to the warmth of summer.

Born in France and raised in the Caribbean, Gianni Bee’s musical journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Self-taught, he discovered his love for the guitar and singing at the age of fifteen, quickly making a mark with performances in bars and covers on YouTube. Recognized in 2017 by The Voice France, Gianni Bee went on to participate in Florent Pagny’s team until the semi-final.

In “Sunflower,” Gianni Bee showcases his rich musical personality influenced by artists such as Tom Rosenthal, The Lumineers, Jeff Buckley, and Bon Iver. Sung in three languages—English, French, and Spanish—his diverse repertoire reflects his multicultural background.

“Sunflower” features a unique collaboration with singer-songwriter/cellist Maddie Ashman, creating a double duet between guitar and cello, as well as between two distinct styles and energies. The song is a testament to the magic that can be created through cross-cultural collaborations, with Gianni Bee and Maddie Ashman recording the track in a studio in Manchester.

Gianni Bee describes “Sunflower” as a song from the summer, evoking comfort and hope with the return of the sun and long days. The fully acoustic track explores themes of love at first sight, connection, and the excitement of love rekindled after a long time.

Gianni Bee will support the single with an upcoming music video, a series of ten shows in France, and radio promotions. The artist’s dedication to creating an immersive experience for fans is evident in the upcoming visuals and live performances.

Gianni Bee’s “Sunflower” will be available on all major streaming platforms on January 26, 2024, via ALTER K.
