Beloved Portland pop/indie-rock trio Gossip releases the invigorating title track “Real Power” from their forthcoming album, Real Power, produced by the legendary Rick Rubin and out via Ultra Records this March.

“Real Power,” penned by frontwoman Beth Ditto, stands as a clarion call to embrace personal power—a direct response to the global Black Lives Matter protests in Beth’s hometown, Portland. It continues the band’s tradition of using music as a vehicle for social commentary and advocacy, echoing the impact of their 2006 anthem “Standing In The Way Of Control,” a powerful response to the Federal Marriage Amendment threatening to outlaw gay marriage in the United States.
