A dramatic divergence from his recent Chasing The Golden Hour 4 LP, “Skydive” is a meddlesome dubstep anthem filled with chaotic layers of wobbling distortion. Featuring hip-hop collaborator ProbCause and vocalist Chrishira Perrier, “Skydive” twists and turns with dizzying basslines and charged countermelodies, unearthing a devious path for the pair’s hard-hitting vocals.
Regarding the track, GRiZ said, “Skydive is one of my favorite tracks from this past year and I’m so glad to finally have this one out. It was so much fun to write with ProbCause and Chrishira. I hope you love it.”
Along with the single, GRiZ has shared the official aftermovie for his first-ever ‘Triple Rainbow’ event. One of the only electronic events to be held at Wisconsin’s Alpine Valley Music Theatre, ‘Triple Rainbow’ was a phenomenal 2-day event that featured camping for limited attendees.
