Taken from his third studio album Lines, ‘Dublin’ was created from the melody of a few chords on a classical acoustic guitar, and then the song slowly started to form. His complimentary vocals and intriguing guitar work truly showcase his musical abilities.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, H.Pe connects to the city through memory; the thought of walking through St. Stephen’s Green on a warm, summer’s day with the people, the memory, and the fantasy of what could have been.

“Dublin is about the line between memory and fantasy.”H.Pe comments on the track.

Lines, is a collection of songs that move between memory and fantasy, hope and despair; attempting to connect the lines between limits; the lines between us. Stripped down and intimate, the album relies on influences like David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, The Cure, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Glen Hansard, and Bon Iver to shape a unique and vibrant sound that keeps you wondering about what could come next.

“Music is special. It will care for you and bring you to where you need to be. To sadness. Or love. From despair. To home. It accompanies you on that journey to the end of the line. And gives you hope for the journey back.” – H.Pe comments on the album.

‘Dublin’ is available on all streaming platforms now.
