If Raydeo were to put ‘Alchemist’ at the top of his resumé, nobody could question it. With a growing catalogue of sonic goodness, and armed with the distinct drawl of his hometown, the Washington Heights, New York native now returns with a welcome addition of braggadocious hip hop ‘TOLD YOU SO’, along with much-anticipated accompanying visuals.

Having created a sound that resembles a transformative potion of otherworldly hip hop and echoes of evergreen old school fusion tones, the master of alchemy Raydeo has stirred up some magic yet again. About Raydeo

Johnny Kensy Feliz, better known by his stage name, Raydeo, is an American rapper and songwriter. Starting in 2017, he is known for his charismatic nature and his playful, yet sharp lyricism. He began receiving positive attention from his “Freestyle Fridays” via Instagram, which displayed his unique style through a series of remixes to classic beats and instrumentals.

Raydeo was born and raised in Washington Heights, New York to Dominican parents. They sparked his interest in hip-hop, playing artists like A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, and Pharrell Williams. Before creating music, he found ways to express himself through countless hours of photo editing and computer programming.

 It wasn’t until a Global Citizen Festival performance in 2016, where a headlining Kendrick Lamar inspired Raydeo to pursue a career in music.As an upcoming NYC artist, Raydeo has amassed a following of over 40 thousand individuals on Instagram. His biggest influences are Tyler the Creator, Mac Miller and Duckwrth.

Raydeo navigates life with the catchphrase “DREAMS ARE REALITY”, reminding him that even his highest aspirations are always within arms reach.
