Indie Pop Songwriter Alex Di Leo Shares Compelling Video for New Single “Call it a Night”

Rising Indie Pop songwriter Alex Di Leo’s latest single, “Call it a Night,” is an ode to his whirlwind of chaos and heartbreak. Using his personal pain to channel some of his best work to date, “Call It A Night” features strong, soulful vocals and a bold, emotional storyline. 

Premiering last night, the Florida native shares the compelling video here:

Produced and co-written by James Shelly, formerly of American Authors, the single shows more personal growth than ever before, exploring themes of breaking toxic cycles and listening to your own instincts. 

To date, Alex Di Leo has over 7 million streams across all platforms and has been featured in Apple Music’s New in Alternative, Alt/Pop, and Teen Pop Hits playlists, as well as Spotify’s Fresh Finds Rock playlist. Additionally, he’s had six songs added to Spotify Japan’s New Music Friday playlist. Alex’s music has also seen tons of screen time: three of his songs have appeared in three episodes of Netflix’s Twentysomethings: Austin and several songs havebeen featured in MTV’s Ex On The Beach and Teen Mom. Alex Di Leo kicked off the year opening for Milky Chance and is only just getting started, with more shows being announced shortly.

Alex Di Leo is a Fort Lauderdale, FL native who now resides in Nashville, TN. His first debut EP, ‘So We Go’ was released in November 2016 and quickly brought Di Leo to the spotlight. Di Leo’s EP was featured in the top 20 at over 100 college radio stations, and he was the first local artist to be played at Miami alternative radio station 104.3 FM The Shark. The following years opened Di Leo’s eyes to new experiences and adventures, both good and bad. Di Leo now focuses very heavily on personal growth and reflection, and his music depicts this through emotional and detailed songs of his experiences. Di Leo has appeared at festivals such as Riptide and SunFest, as well as toured with artists such as Plain White T’s and Knox Hamilton. He also started off this year by opening for Milky Chance. His music has become more powerful and distinct throughout the years, and some of his best work is yet to come.
