Factory 93 Records presents ‘REBIRTH’, a powerful collaboration between Jaden Thompson and Afriqua, featuring Canadian vocalist Celeste Aria’s magnetic touch. Out 12th September, ‘REBIRTH’ is a timeless slice of jacking house, layered with crisp claps that snap over punchy kicks. Infectious vocal hooks and rising arpeggios weave through soft piano chords and subtle acid lines, building into a rich, layered atmosphere that perfectly captures the vision of two of the genre’s most electrifying talents.
Jaden Thompson, one of house music’s most in-demand young stars, brings his Chicago-rooted, groove-driven sensibilities to the project. A resident at London’s iconic Fabric, the Midnight Parade label boss has graced stages from CircoLoco Ibiza to The Warehouse Project, with releases on Cuttin’ Headz, Classic Music Company, and Crosstown Rebels. Meanwhile, his Berlin-based counterpart Afriqua, known for his genre-defying, classically informed style, adds his signature sonic depth and fearless artistry. With a background spanning hip-hop, house, techno, and disco, Afriqua’s productions bridge musical worlds with precision and soul, boasting a discography on imprints such as R&S Records and CORE Records. Away from production, he’s played legendary venues including Berghain, DC-10, and MUTEK. Together on ‘REBIRTH’, Thompson and Afriqua have crafted a track that feels both rooted in vintage club nostalgia while also tuned for the next generation of dancers.
