Australian/Chilean artist Jalmar teams up with Australian/Venezuelan producer Pinky Promise for ‘Badina’, a vibrant new track blending Dembow, Caribbean and Latin urban influences with Shatta-inspired rhythms.
‘Badina’ is all about energy, movement and a carefree summer atmosphere. The track brings together punchy rhythms and infectious Latin club energy, creating a dancefloor-ready cut with plenty of personality.
The title ‘Badina’ is a playful twist on “bad Latina”, capturing the attitude and cheeky character at the heart of the track. Rather than overthinking it, Jalmar set out to make something fun, a track designed to bring people together and get the night moving.
‘Badina’ also continues Jalmar’s ongoing collaboration with Pinky Promise. The pair are developing a shared Latin urban sound that draws from their different backgrounds, connecting Latin America and Australia through music while bringing their own influences to the mix.
With its infectious rhythm, summer energy and Latin club sensibility, ‘Badina’ is a celebration of collaboration, culture and simply having a good time.
